For some time you have inquired about the ability to transact with TAS via EDI. In the past, our answer has been to direct you to our secure online web portal (Accessible from our home page). This remains an option, but discussions internally began regarding the idea of adding EDI functionality for those customers who are more familiar with this method of working. Last year, we decided to add this capability to be more flexible for our customers.

We began the process of locating a partner in the marketplace with a good track record and a modern interface that would integrate with the new information system powering our transportation and warehousing activities. We ultimately decided on a solution developed by TrueCommerce. Their new platform specifically appealed to us because of its scalability and simple, easy-to-use design, as well as their managed services and nearly 100,000 trading partner maps that included many of our customers already.

Most importantly, TrueCommerce is fully integrated with our system and their partner mapping team has plenty of experience in establishing relationships between 3PL providers and Suppliers.
